Spotlight: Veteran; game AW winner at Southwell (7f; 6-1) recently; 1lb rise looks fair and he's still 5lb lower than when successful over C&D (good to firm) last August; no reason why he shouldn't be thereabouts.

Spotlight: Won over C&D (for Declan Carroll) last July and he competes here from a 5lb lower mark; lacked the pace to challenge on first two starts for Ruth Carr (who also saddles Filey Beach) so stepping back up to 7f rates as a positive move; wide draw, yet still merits respect.

Spotlight: Most effective at sharp tracks; justified favouritism when fending off Ideal Guest over C&D (good to firm) last July and now 5lb lower; step back in the right direction when third to Filey Beach over C&D (14-1, beaten over 2l) ten days ago; interesting to see if she can back that up.

Spotlight: Won for Julie Camacho at Beverley (7.5f; good to firm; from 3lb lower) last July; respectable across three starts for this trainer but does have some work to do with Saisons d'Or from Southwell (fifth, beaten 3l in an added tongue-tie); the task isn't impossible.

Spotlight: 5-40; runner-up to Without Delay over C&D (good to firm; in cheekpieces) last July and found another of these rivals - Roundhay Park - too strong at Ripon (in a visor) next time; ended last season on a downbeat note and no win since October 2023; monitor only.
